The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired, especially the bathroom (mirrors) were not properly cleaned. The rooms facing the street are extremely noisy. On a positive note, the fruit plate provided and the proximity to the airport.

Rundown hotel selling overpriced rooms. Uncomfortable bed and unkept bathroom. Various mix ups over my booking on arrival and room service charge which was higher than actual charge and then charged double out of my bank account. I do not expected to be taken advantage of because I am foreign. It is unacceptable.

I had booked into a lovely looking hotel called Shine Hospitality near the airport - two rooms booked both with ensuite for one night. When we were met at Mumbai airport by the man from Shine Hospitalitly (all included in the price) we were told that there was a problem at the hotel and the electricity had "broken". We were told not to worry we would be taken to another hotel which was "even nicer than the one we had booked". After waiting ages for the complimentary taxi to arrive we finally arrived at a ghastly, dingey hotel with peeling walls and exposed wires. Doorways were broken. Simply ghastly. I complained and said this was not what I booked (the photos and reviews for the one I had booked were all very good). Finally he said I could pay a reduced amount but still really expensive for where we had landed. No flushing loo, just a bucket and a hose pipe). Ghastly, ghastly, ghastly. Review for Shine Hospitatliy regarding breakfasts had rave reviews so we thought at least we would get a good breakfast at this hotel. They asked us if we wanted omelettes and we said "no" just some fruit juice. We did have a lovely glass of freshly squeezed water melon which was very good but a while later 3 omelettes arrived which we hadn't ordered not wanted. Couldn't wait to escape the place. It was in a very run down area of Mumbai. The name of the hotel on the little soap was the Hotel Benzy Palace and looking at the photos above it is definitely the same place. Please be careful not to fall for this scam and ask to know the name of the hotel before you agree to go as you just don't know where you will end up. Unfortunately for us, it was out first visit to Mumbai (we were in transit to Goa) and it was not a happy experience.

The food served at this hotel is really awesome. The Nature and Behaviour of the hotel is very friendly. They also provide complimentary airport transfers which is really good and helpful. Rooms are small but comfortable. Good for short stays.

they say they are good at kerala food but not even one item they make is close to kerala food preparation i am mallu and know what is kerala cusine it largely caters to non malu and since then they are ok serving malu food with mumbai touch hope i am clear in my communciations
